MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. led the inauguration of the Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT-1) Cavite Extension (L1CE) Phase 1 Project in Parañaque City on Friday, November 15.
The five new stations include Redemptorist-Aseana Station, MIA Road Station, PITX Station, Ninoy Aquino Avenue Station, and Dr. Santos (formerly Sucat) Station.

Article continues after this advertisementPhases 2 and 3 of the project are expected to extend the train line for about 6 kilometers, with two more stations in Las Piñas City and another in Bacoor City, Cavite.
The entire L1CE is estimated to cater to 300,000 additional passengers daily, with a total of 800,000 riderships daily once the entire LRT-1 is operational.
